Mosey along with 1800’s cowboy Jedadiah Douglas as he takes you on a rip-roaring exploration of Santa Fe’s Old West characters and history. Walk along the route of the Santa Fe Trail and imagine traveling its grueling 1,200 miles. See where Billy the Kid sat in jail after being apprehended by Sheriff Pat Garrett. Learn about daily life at Fort Marcy, the American Southwest’s first U.S. Army post. Find out why the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad actually bypassed Santa Fe. Experience all this and more from the firsthand accounts of your time traveler guide.

Tours departs at 12:45 PM and begin in front of the entrance to the New Mexico History Museum at 113 Lincoln Avenue, one-half block north of the Santa Fe Plaza. Please arrive by 1pm to meet your guide.

*Tickets not required for children under 8. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
